This species belongs actually to Lateropalus continentalis Vitali, Gouverneur & Chemin, 2017, a new species endemic from Indochina.

For this species and Cyriopalus pascoei Thomson, 1878 (endemic from Malaysia) we have instituted the new genus Lateropalus Vitali, Gouverneur & Chemin, 2017, actually very different from Cyriopalus.

The revision to the genus Cyriopalus is available here

It seems a female of Cyriopalus pascoei Thomson, 1878 (Cerambycini).
I did not know it may be in Vietnam.
