Ces photos montrent bien le dessin élytral.
Sur le site de Larry Bezark se trouve une image de D. juheli:

c'est le spécimen qui figure dans le travail d'Adlbauer.
Reste la question de la répartition. Il est vrai que D. juheli a été décrit sur un spécimen provenant d'une région très différente que de Chad qui se trouve sensiblement plus au nord. Mais pourquoi pas? Il y a bien des espèces qui couvrent une très large partie de l'Afrique, partant de la côte ouest et descendant largement vers la Tanzanie ou le bassin du Congo... dans l'ensemble nous savons très peu sur la répartition réelle d'une bonne partie des espèces africaines. |

Oui il s'agit d'un Dissaporus, et de cette région il s'agit probablement de cachani (?) maintenant il faudrait comparer avec les autres espèces ? |

Not sure about Derolus. As far as I can see the pronotum is missing ridges or wrinkles.
Why not Dissaporus juheli Adlbauer, 2006? Desciption based on the Holotypus from Mozambique. Small seize and dark spot on elytral apex seems to fit, as well as the darker area on humeri.
On the other hand I am not able to see if the femora are carinate ventrally or not. |
