These specimens are both from Borneo / Sabah (20/23 mm) If the right one is probably X. laticornis, I don't know if the left one could be striata or asphyxa ?.. X. striata is unknown on Titan base !! |

Posted - 24/01/2017 : 16:18:30 Thank you Dan and Andre. I can finish my labelling of this genus. Effectively i just found in coll. the species below (37mm from Borneo) corresponding to the type of asphyxa (was previously labelled as striata).

Posted - 24/01/2017 : 14:18:30 The one on the left in the original post is X. subdita Holzschuh, 2005.
X. asphyxa Franz, 1972 is usually 30-35 mm in size, and is not similar to this species. I am sure there have been images posted of X. asphyxa on the forum before.
Your specimen of X. subdita appears to have had a little pubescence rubbed off the pronotum
