Posted - 07/07/2011 : 19:08:35 mmmhm... are you sure that they are the same specimen? The wrinkles of the prothorax does not correspond to C. pascoei but to C. wallacei. Both species are present in Borneo. Moreover, this latter species as a globose prothorax, while the former has a cylindrical one. Actually, after balancing the colours of the second picture, the typical yellow pubescence of pascoei disappears. Hence I think that Cyriopalus wallacei Pascoe, 1869 is a more correct ID. Gerard, I move your pascoei to the female you posted some time ago. |
