North Vietnam, 50 mm. It seems to me that this female belongs to the genus Nadezhdiella. It strongly remembers N. japonica Hayashi, but, as far as I know, this item is reported from Japan and Taiwan... |

Posted - 21/01/2013 : 10:23:47 Small post: this species was re-described as Cerambyx lucasi Brongniart, 1891 from a male coming from Loas (description here, original drawing below).
Both synonym and locality are often forgotten in papers. |

Posted - 02/06/2012 : 09:39:02 Francesco, what a funny coincidence... I read yesterday (!) your paper on Entomopeiron and, using the key you proposed there, reached the same conclusion. Thanks for confirming. |

Posted - 02/06/2012 : 07:02:47 It seems to me Nadezhdiella cantori (Hope, 1845). Nadezhdiella japonica Hayashi, 1972 has the pronotum more angulated laterally and with conical teeth, while cantori has a more rounded pronotum with bowed teeth. |
