Hallo Dan
Its Material from Malaysia Peninsular, Cameron Highland, ZSMunich.
As well a determination is not possible without comparison with the Type.
Thank for your help Dan and Beckey. Next Weekend is Bursa in Prag!

Andre, where is Malaysia P. ? Is that peninsular West Malaysia?

Your specimen does bear a strong resemblance to A. inerme, known only from Sarawak... and as far as I know, maybe only known from the holotype. (That does not mean there aren't many specimens in the undetermined holdings of large museums!)

The image published in Ex Naturae is rather blurry, but all dimensions look similar. Without closely comparing the punctation of the pronotum and elytra, it is impossible to be sure.

I saw "EX NATURA CERAMBYCINAE DE BORNEO - 1" P87.

Mmm..., I'm sorry.
Your beetle might be A. inerme Bates, 1879.

Amblyontium

Your beetle differs from A. inerme and A. sabahensis.
I think your beetle is new for science.
