This new study on the Polyzonus and related genera is a real step beyond and makes many things clearer, even if it introduces several taxonomic changes which may appear complicated at a first glance.

By using the key by Bentanachs (2012), this female clarly belongs to the new subgenus Parapolyzonus.
The pronotal shape suggests P. drumonti Bentanachs, 2010, which is only known for Yunnan and Thailand.

No, it belongs to the genus Polyzonus.
