This Callichromatini shows the whole elegance of south American Callichromatini.
Body totally covered with black hairs, elytra without the typical "Callichroma-stripes", covering a metallic green body.

Male 35 mm, female 30 mm,
Mexico.

Genus Cnemidochroma?

Not exactly: Cnemidocroma are widespread only in South America and the males have antennae shorter than body.
This is a typical Callichroma with atypical reduction of metallic colour... or better, atypical abundance of black pubescence: Callichroma holochlorum melancholicum Bates, 1872.
Funereal, but elegant species...
