If have C. siegriedae from S-Yunnan determined by Carolus himself, here the picture, there are some variations in the tomentation within my small series so its difficult to decide. We should ensure the ID by the male genitals. |

In contrast, the linked species does not perfectly fit to the description, because of the missing of the pronotal black spots. |

Posted - 13/06/2013 : 23:07:37 Hallo Xavier, the descriptions from C. brevenotatus in Holzschuh 1993 is in many things conform with my specimens (2 Male, 2 Female). But according to Holzschuh the pronotum of C. brevenotatus is slightly broader as the pronotum of C. siegridae. The pronotum of all my Spec. is very distinctly broader. see also http://www.cerambycoidea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4022 |
