Pak Chong is a district of Nakhon Ratchasima Province in which Khao Yai N. P. lies.

Collector said he took a long hike into Khao Yai NP on that day. Don't know if this helps but I am trying!

Nakhon Ratchasima is a town ; north-east of Bangkok.

I have contacted who I think collected the specimen and will post whatever I find out.
BillTyson Posted - 25/05/2015 : 16:18:25
reads Nak. Ratch. which may stand for Nakhon Ratch, a chain of hotels?????

Bill, could you try to read this part of the data ?
BillTyson Posted - 25/05/2015 : 05:56:32
Well, I am sure you have received specimens and could not perfectly read the writing of the collector. I do the best I can. I see a Pak Chom, perhaps it is that site.

...but in this topic, Francesco speaks about Rhaphuma from Malysia peninsular (Cameron Highlands) with similar pattern; so, why not in Thailand ?
Do you know where is Pak Chow ?

...and here, a species from the same group
Xavier Posted - 24/05/2015 : 21:42:32
I do not know other species with the same pattern. Someone else, may be ?
BillTyson Posted - 24/05/2015 : 16:18:31
specimen came papered and that is my hand written label taken off
the data on the specimen. Obtained it in the 90's. That is all I can add.

No spines on any antennal segments.

Are you sure that this specimen comes from Thailande ??

It is strangely close to Rhaphuma bivittata Aurivillius, 1916 which is a...Bornean species !
Xavier Posted - 24/05/2015 : 10:17:26
First, spined antennomera or not ?
