I received this specimen with a series of Clytus niveipictus; but compared with the rest of the set it seems different. Can you confirm niveipictus? |

Posted - 19/03/2012 : 11:19:08 Chlorophorus dominici is a good species. I think this one is a dominici. Generally, nivipictus have only a middle spot on elytra not a large band. |

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 14:01:50 Well, put side by side dominici and nivipictus show differences especially on the white apical band. In addition to this nivipictus seems to be quite stable. Thank you! |

Posted - 26/02/2012 : 10:29:58 It should be a female of Chlorophorus dominici Sama, 1996 (cf. here). I do not know if this is a true species or a form of C. nivipictus. |
