I have this Purpuricenus named lameyi, but I cannot find that name anywhere. It is 15 mm long.

I can confirm it: the pattern exactly corresponds to this subspecies widespread in southern Zaire.

The subspecies were revised by Kuntzen (1915), available in the Digital Library here.

Female of Purpuricenus laetus. (!!) subspecies reported, but don't ask me on which base they have been established.
Seeing the origin of your specimen, this one is ssp. congoanus (Aurivillius, 1911).
