Francesco	Posted - 30/11/2013 : 08:36:23 I can confirm it: the pattern exactly corresponds to this subspecies widespread in southern Zaire. The subspecies were revised by Kuntzen (1915), available in the Digital Library here.
Pierre	Posted - 30/11/2013 : 07:51:01 Female of *Purpuricenus laetus. (!!) subspecies reported, but don't ask me on which base they have been established. Seeing the origin of your specimen, this one is ssp. congoanus* (Aurivillius, 1911).
