mmmhm... considering the position of Alor, and the distribution of Purpuricenus wieneckii (Timor) and P. quadrinotatus (New Guinea and Australia), the more probale species is just wieneckii.
Unless, wieneckii and quadrinotatus are the same species. I have bought one of these specimens in order to verify this synonymy. |

Dein Käfer scheint ja ein Purpuricenus. Die einzige Art in der Nähe scheint Purpuricenus wieneckii (Vollenhoven, 1871) von Timor zu sein (unten), aber ich weiß nicht, ob sie bis zu Alor kommt. Beschreibung hier.
