hello all, I am the new one here and as a first try
comes a Purpuricenus ?
from Alor Island

mmmhm... considering the position of Alor, and the distribution of Purpuricenus wieneckii (Timor) and P. quadrinotatus (New Guinea and Australia), the more probale species is just wieneckii.

Unless, wieneckii and quadrinotatus are the same species.
I have bought one of these specimens in order to verify this synonymy.

Thanks to all! I got another one from this Purpuricenus black without any markings and another black, two red spots and a red band.

I think your specimen is female of Purpuricenus quadrinotatus (White, 1846).

Dein Käfer scheint ja ein Purpuricenus.
Die einzige Art in der Nähe scheint Purpuricenus wieneckii (Vollenhoven, 1871) von Timor zu sein (unten), aber ich weiß nicht, ob sie bis zu Alor kommt.
