Posted - 31/03/2013 : 13:07:18 I have 3 what I thought to be Tetraommatus (?) specimens from Singapore:
1.
![](/public/imgforum/loongfah/201333112429_DF050909 30 longhorn beetle small.jpg) 346.88 KB
2.
![](/public/imgforum/loongfah/201333112454_Catchment260610 02 longhorn beetle small.jpg) 118.41 KB
The second specimen lacks the darker elytral tip, the dorsal eyes are placed closer together, the neck is less distinct, legs seem more uniformly colored.
3.
![](/public/imgforum/loongfah/201333113135_Ubin120506 03 orange oberea longhorn small.jpg) 316.57 KB The eyes in this is contiguous on the vertex.
I also have this picture from Peninsular Malaysia (Rompin town). Not sure if it is still a Tetraommatus: the pronotum is not really longer than broad and armed with a spine on the side.
4.

Tetraommatus, I believe, has divided eyes. |

This species is closely related to Tetraommatus ocularis Pascoe, 1869... it corresponds to the description well enough. But, it was described from Morty (North Moluccas), and there is a subspecies from India. Nothing in between.![](images/icon_smile_shock.gif) |

It would be better to post one species/photo for topic... or at least for post, so we can move different species and (in next times) "taxate" the pictures in order to create a gallery.![](images/icon_smile_wink.gif)
This species is Noserius tibialis Pascoe, 1857, female. |
