Maliau Basin, Borneo
This is the only angle I managed of this, and I am not sure if anyone else in our party got this one.
Hope it is sufficient for an ID.

Thanks.
Yes, you are probably right, time will lengthen species, just ask a fisherman about the size of the one that got away!

It is large enough!
Actually, this size is too large for a Ceresium-species (usually ~15 mm), while it might correspond to Noserius: this pair is 23 mm long.
Moreover, living insects always seem larger than they are in reality.

It was not large. Body length was between 25-30mm.

Not too easy from this position... the yellow borders of the eyes reminds me of some Ceresium-species (Callidiopini); nonetheless, the particular colouration of legs seem to suggest Noserius ovatipennis Pascoe, 1869 (Xystrocerini).
I have not found any Ceresium-species with such colourations of legs, while the shape of the eyes of the latter species seems to be different... mmmhm.
Do you remember its body size?
