Posted - 04/12/2017 : 19:05:20 It is Phoracantha odewahnii Pascoe, 1864 male. It is very close to P. punctipennis but this one has the punctures on the elytra aligned in distinct rows. Dan's specimen has not a narrow sutural stripe near the apex, it is a well know variety.
