Hello,

I have this couple of Mallocera from Paraguay. I'm having trouble to reach the specie.

Many thanks

Many thanks Larry for the id and the description. I couldn't find any open access key for this genus, this is very nice from you.

Have a good day,

Robin

Robin, both of these are Mallocera ramosa Gounelle, 1909.

Single apical spine on elytra, pronotum longer than wide,
basal depression on the scape.

I have collected this species in Paraguay.

Regards,

Larry B.
