I posted photos of the holotypes of P. nayani Vives and P. sabahanus Vives & Heffern under the Cerambycinae type category on this forum.
P. sabahanus is somewhat different than the species occuring in Bali, because the pubescence on the elytra is considerably more dense with different reflections to it.
I have only seen one specimen each of P. sabahanus & nayani. I don't know why they are so rare. Perhaps other persons have them.
Last year I obtained a 3rd specimen of Pachylocerus from W. Kalimantan (Borneo), which appears to represent a new species and it is currently being studied by Vives, but it might be a while before a description is published.
