Hi all,
I have specimens of three form of Erythrus sp. from mountain areas near Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, South Vietnam. They are quite similar to E. vietnamicus Vives, 2019 but different in body coloration. Does any one help me identify them? Thank you. |

Some Erythrus are variable in coloration. Besides doing the drastic measure of dissecting, look at the protuberances on the pronotum, the mwasurements of the antennae, and the shape of elytral apices.
The bottom right specimen is probably E. vietnamicus. The one on the bottom left is possibly the same.
When you collect many specimens is it easier to see the variations.
