Is this a Nyctimenius?
The dorsal surface of the pronotum is completely black.

Indeed: it is a Nyctimenius varicornis (Fabricius, 1801) with rubbed pubescence.
Pubescence is patently grey, legs are black and white pubescence on antennae starts from the article IX.
