Bonjour je pense qu'il y a une erreur qui date de loin.
A mon avis Examnes longicornis Pascoe, 1869 est une autre espèce, la bête décrite par Newman n'a rien a voir avec la bête de Pascoe qui est une bête d'Indonésie.
Ici a mon avis il s'agi d'un male de Examnes mindanaonis Hüdepohl, 1990.

Yeees... but the elytral base is evidently granulated in Examnes, punctured in Ceresium.

However, I was wrong: your specimen is Examnes longicornis Pascoe, 1869, male.
You can compare it with the original drawing:


Examnes longicornis Pascoe, 1869: pl. XX, fig. 3

In Titan base and Larry's gallery, these species are erroneously considered as synonyms, since based on a wrong Aurivillius' synonymy.
However, Hüdepohl proved it as wrong already in 1990 (p. 90).
Here, you can observe both species:


Examnes longicornis and Examnes philippensis (from Hüdepohl, 1990)

The habitus of these species and the correct distribution are provided correctly in BioLib.

What character do I use to separate Examnes from Ceresium....antennal length??
