This is the first specimen of this Camelocerambyx that I have seen. Could it be new? Has anyone seen it from Sumatra or W. Malaysia? The photo is not so good, but it has no resemblance to 3 species which I have from Borneo. I have never seen C. vittatus Aur., 1924, but this is apparently not vittatus. Also, if anybody has a good quality pdf file of Aurivillius, C. 1924. Neue oder wenig bekannte Coleoptera Longicornia. 19., can you please send it to me. |

Posted - 11/02/2019 : 06:42:51 Several years ago, Vives identified this as C. vittatus. I don't know if he has a photo of the holotype, but he may be correct. I haven't researched it any further. |
