UN montage ! (vivement le nouveau forum (: ...)
Xavier Posted - 23/10/2012 : 17:51:52

Bonjour.

Thanks Xavier!
In Tibet should be present Prothema aurata interrupta Pic, 1927, with the discal yellow band of the elytra complete. Nonetheless, this seems to me the typical form.

The identity of the ssp. interrupta is very confusing, since Gressitt (1951) and Gressitt & Rondon (1970) furnished two fairly different descriptions. It seems that this form corresponds to the "variation of aurata" (Gressitt & Rondon, fig. 23e), which Holzschuh described as P. sinuosa[/url], but I need to read, at least, Pic's original description.

Because Francesco can't do the job alone...
N° 71 is not a Clytini, but a Prothemini. Probably, Prothema aurata Gahan, 1906
