Size about 9mm.
I don't have photographs of the types of P. argenteofasciata Aur. or P. modesta Gahan.

It is not P. clytoides, tenebrosa, or fulvitarsis. Or perhaps this Polyphida is new or not recorded from Borneo.
I have seen 4 or 5 specimens of this species over the years, so it is not very rare.

No, Aurivillius stated "communicated by the Museum Sarawak".

Thank all of you for your valuable opinions.
The species is probably as you say, but I would like to see a photo of the holotype. Titan database says it is in Stockholm, whereas the article by Aurivillius says it is in the Sarawak Museum. That does not make sense. Does anybody have a pdf of Breuning's 1970 work on Glaucytini?

except for the size.

dryobus wrote "Size about 9mm" and Aurivillius 7-8 mm. It's not so far
To complete the post : Polyphida argenteofasciata Aurivillius, 1910

This is the original description of P. argenteofasciata... it fits well in all details, except for the size.

This is not P. modesta.
