Hi all. Which Strongylurus species is this please? They do seem quite hard to seperate.
Data: 08-2004 - Irian Jaya - West Papua - 22 mm

Posted - 13/10/2017 : 19:52:25 They are all Strongylurus latus. The elytral patterns are variable. I've got one without basal black pattern and two with a continuous basal black line. The brown spot after the middle of the elytra can be sometime very reduced.

This pair from Irian Jaya is labelled S. latus The elytral basal pattern is quite different... |
