Two books were published a while back. The author was John Chemsak.
1996. Illustrated Revision of the Cerambycidae of North America. Vol. I, Subfamilies Parandrinae, Spondylidinae, Aseminae, Prioninae. Wolfsgarden Press, Burbank, CA, ix+150 pp., 10 pls.
2005. Illustrated Revision of the Cerambycidae of North America. Vol. 2, Subfamily Lepturinae. Wolfsgarden Press, Chino, CA, 446 pp., 27 pls.
A very limited quantity of these books were produced. One of the editors died and the surviving editor has received a few requests to produce a few more copies of the books. However the cost to produce just a few books is very great.
If you are seriously interested in buying this book, please contact me via email. I will give you the email of the editor in California, and you can tell him that you are interested in a copy. The cost of each book may be as high as $150 or $200. I am not involved in his business, but I know that he is not trying to make money. His problem is that it is very expensive to make the books, especially if only 4 or 5 copies will be sold. |
