Uraecha longzhouensis Wang & Chiang, 2000 syn. nov. = Annamanum lunulatum (Pic, 1934); ce qui est bien indiqué dans la clef .
Uraecha perplexa Gressitt, 1942 syn. nov. = Uraecha yunnana Breuning, 1936. A modifier donc dans la clef. |

Posted - 13/01/2013 : 20:41:00 If you have a series specimens about same species, you will find the elytral markings variational in a range (like in U. angusta and U. obliquefasciata ) That's why the Key was somewhat difficult to use.
In addition, Uraecha longzhouens Wang & Chiang should be considered a synonym of Annamanum lunulatum Pic. For the authors ignored the character of mesosternal process tuberculate or not, in the original description, and the other characters fit A. lunulatum well. Of course, it's need to check the type for further conclusion. |
