Over the past few years I have been compiling photos of species from the Philippines to assist a friend there who collects them. Jean-Philippe has helped on many of the Lamiines but still, dozens remain un-named, even to genus. If any one out there would be willing to see them, a page at a time (usually, 4-9 pic per page) I would be happy to send them along. I have three files, one with the Lamiines, one with the Cerambycines and the third with everything else. I could send them that way if you have lots of room on your computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bill

It is a very good picture.
If you post it in as a new topic (i.e. unsorted species here), we can move it to the right section

Dear Bill,
I don't understand why you don't want to post your pictures on this forum ?

You can send me your pictures, but I am not a specialist of Philippines fauna.
If your pdf pictures are too heavy, please don't send it on my mailbox, but use an external server (yousendit is ok).

Sorry, I have not read all the file of this topic. We can try to help you for posting your pictures here.

Xavier: Think I got an email from you but it ended up in my spam folder and as I deleted all of the junk I saw there was one from you. Sorry, please try again. bill

Everything is in pdf format and yes, they are on the smaller size. Had to shrink them down or I would have ended up with hundreds of pages. As it is, its well over 150. bill

Bill,
Do you not have original digital photographs of the beetles? That is the easiest place to start. Otherwise, we may need to manipulate something.

Are your "pages" in a pdf or jpg format?

Having 4 to 9 pictures on a page means that the details on the specimens may be difficult to see.

Someone fill this old man in on how to post a page (4-9 pics) and I will try sending one in. If it works I can continue to post. All assistance is greatly appreciated. bill

Happy to help Bill.
I have been studying the Philippine fauna for a few years now sand have become acquainted with many of the species.
Try and post if you can?
Regards
Ben

Hi Bill,
It would be nicer to post separate species on the forum. We are clever all togheter, sometime.
Do you think it is possible ?
