I don't have any additional information about this species, however it certainly does not appear to be a known native species of North America.
Does anybody recognize it? It was apparently collected somewhere between Houston and San Antonio, Texas. |

Posted - 11/05/2014 : 04:02:17 After I learned this species was actually collected in the summer and not during the cool season, it became apparent that the specimen was simply an unmarked individual of Eburia haldemani, which (in my opinion) is just the western morph of Eburia quadrigeminata. In 30 years in Texas I have seen an enormous variety of specimens of this species. There are occasionally some introduced species in the USA, but this is not one of them. |
