Est-il possible d'avoir un même nom de genre pour des espèces issues de deux règnes différents ?
Je pense plus précisément au genre Chelidonium, qui se retrouve parmi les plantes et les insectes. |

However there is also a Recommendation (Recommendation 1A. Names already in use for taxa that are not animals) which states that, authors are to refrain from publishing identical zoological names and are advised to check the Index Nominum Genericorum and The Approved List of Bacterial Names before establishing new genus-group names. |

Zoological nomenclature is independent of other systems of nomenclature in that the name of an animal taxon is not to be rejected merely because it is identical with the name of a taxon that is not animal. |
