I have received the news that some taxonomic papers describing new species and published by Elsevier and Taylor & Francis were retracted since the authors failed to demonstrate Access and Benefit-Sharing with regard to the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre & Sabah Biodiversity Centre (1997) Cf. https://www.mabs.jp/countries/malaysia/index.html.

Some examples:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2287884X20300789
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00222933.2020.1851935

It seems that officials of Sabah and Sarawak are checking databases for papers published since 1997 up to now.

I do not known if the papers I published on materials purchased on eBay fit those obscure laws; nonetheless, it does result to me that the ICNZ allows to a country to use a local law (or an "international" law used for local Benefit-Sharing) for unilaterally retracting articles validly published by foreign scientists.

Maybe this is only possible for on-line papers. For printed papers should be science-fiction.

Your opinion?

La question est de savoir, ci ca c’est déjà produit et ci c’est valable.
Comment peut ont invalidé un article, ce qui est parus reste a toujours écrit non ?
