Hello,

I don't have a great experience with the Turkish fauna but recently I saw Ozdikmens P. aligamgami and P. cercii and both species looks like P. merkli. The pair of supposedly P. balcanica also looks like merkli.

I would like to see your opinions.

Hi,
Thanks for the response,
Yes in the text they are supposedly furkani, but in the figure caption on RG they seem to changed the text with the one from the actual figure 1.
Ozdikmen declaring a male as a female is really weird for a professional taxonomist...

Hi,
in your picture #8470;1 there is Ph.furkani, not aligamgami. Phytoecia taxa described by Ozdikmen are very difficult to understand. I believe that almost all of them are synonyms of balcanica, suvorowi and merkli. In the picture of the holotype of cercii is not female, but a male)).
