In my view this beetle fit well to description of N. montipanus but very big (I have two males ~26 mm)
On the other hand I have too the males of N. pennata from 11 to 16 mm, so that difference of size not so important in this group... |

Well, N. strnadi is blackish, and shape of pronotum is different.
After reading (again an again), Necydalis shinborii seems to me the best option.

I haven`t this book.. But based on the description N. strnadi I can say that I like your first idea (as shinborii) better than your second.
Honestly, when I read descriptions, I remind myself of a hypochondriac person with a medical encyclopedia... all fit to all  |

I see another possibility. Your specimen seems also close to the HT picture of Necydalis similis Pu, 1992 = Necydalis strnadi Holzschuh, 1989 in Lin M., 2015. Album of Type Specimens of Longhorn Beetles Deposited in National Zoological Museum of China, page 71. |

No I don`t earlier on, thanks Xavier.
Well, pretty similar to that detailed description (but notes like "about 1.8-2.7 times as deep as genae below them" - it doesn't work with this wide range of data in my view). For me the lateral tubercles of the pronotum are very weak in my beetles (2 males) and the shape of the parameres is also different.
So good idea, thank you. But I`m not sure. |

Did you checked description of Necydalis shinborii Takakuwa & Niisato, 1996 ? |
