Posted - 29/04/2015 : 22:01:30 Coming back to this topic, the genus belonging to the Melyridae is Haplothryx Schilsky, though different authors and catalogs (e.g. Fauna Europaea) still report wrong data. Cf. here the official list of names.
The genus belonging to the Cerambycidae is Haplothrix, which Aurivillius (1922) misspelled as Hoplothrix |

Posted - 04/09/2012 : 18:48:02 Bonjour Xavier & Petr, J'avais cherché dans les Lamiini en général, sans succès. Thanks Petr for the identification.
I see this species is not on Biolib, which is listing 2 Haplothrix genus for 2 different families: Haplothrix Schilsky, 1896 (Melyridae) and Haplothrix Gahan, 1888 (Cerambycidae). Lamiaires du Monde has it as Hoplothrix Gahan, 1888, with the species Hoplothrix blairi Breuning, 1935. Hoplothrix is listed as a synonym of Haplothrix on Biolib. The original spelling in Gahan 1888 is Haplothrix. It seems Francesco has a new species to add to Biolib, unless he has further information regarding this species. |
