This was taken during a recent trip to Khao Sok, Suratthani Province.
Any help with id would be most appreciated.

Thanks

I have lost your topic Andre... but I remember that something did not work.
Aurivillius described cordatus as a variety from Sumatra, and Breuning deemed it as such.
This form differs from the typical one, since the vertex of the head has a black spot posteriorly incised like a heart, instead of 3 longitudinal lines.
But both specimens posted in this forum correspond to the typical form:

I do not know if this form may be considered as a subspecies; however, it is not present in Thailand (neue Meldung? ).

hallo Les.
I have the same spec. collected in Phang nga Prov., not far from Khao Sok.
Andreas Weigel det. this Spec. as Metopides occipitalis ssp. cordatus Aur.
