Francesco do you think my female belongs to the same new ssp. you are describing: SOLOMON Island / Malaita / Northern Trip / January - April 2005 / local collector.

This particular form has been finally described as a new subspecies:
Acalolepta griseofasciata perscissa Vitali & Goussey, 2014.
The present specimen is a paratye.
Cf.: Vitali F. & Goussey F., 2014 - New Acalolepta from the Solomon islands (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) - Lambillionea CXIV (3): 222-226.
