Is this also Acalolepta cariosa?
I am not sure how much variations there are in the punctuation of this species? There seems to be some differences from Robert's specimens.
Acalolepta cariosa was formerly called Orsidis cariosa. There is also an Orsidis singaporensis Breuning, 1979 from Singapore.
Anyone has its description?

Maybe it is interesting to add that O. proletarius has head and pronotum without punctuation...

A. cariosa differs in the uneven elytra, which look as teratologic.

Yes, Breuning's description is very brief:
Close to O. proletaria, but the third segment of the antennae twice as long as the scape and lateral thorn of pronotum very short, conical and not bent.
The length is 14 mm
.

For my specimen, the third segment of the antennae is only 1.4 times as long as the scape.
Otherwise, it is a bit hard to judge without the O. proletarius.

You will find the description in the pdf file which I sent to you earlier called Breuning 1979a.

Breuning says that O. singaporensis is similar to O. proletarius and adds only a couple of more lines to the description. The length is 14 mm.

A. cariosa from Borneo is somewhat larger and simply looks different from your specimen.
