This black beauty was found in Kinabalu Park, Sabah (Borneo).

Due to the locality, it should be Trachystola granulata Pascoe, 1862, but I have problems to separate it from T. scabripennis.
Here (p. 351), you can read the description of both species.

A Trachystola (Lamiini), like this one, but I should better observe the dorsal side in order to identify the species.
