Thank you Dan, the type looks like the first series. Would you have the description or the publication?

Posted - 16/12/2015 : 20:26:42 My previous post contained only specimens from Sabah. I have none from elsewhere in Borneo. |

Posted - 16/12/2015 : 20:24:28 Here are the ones I have:
top row would be A. sandakana
2nd row... well, maybe they are close to A. tristis, but honestly I am not sure. Note how they have a good bit of variation, especially the 3rd one in the 2nd row.

I know I made a mistake here. Your specimen is A. sandakana as Xaurus suggested, and I post a photo of a female from my collection. The colors are slightly different, perhaps due to the camera flash or some other reason. But, there is another species in Northern Borneo which I still can't identify. |

Posted - 16/04/2015 : 20:50:56 Yes Dan, my three specimens are from Philippines and I will post a picture |

Posted - 16/04/2015 : 19:51:36 It's not A. sandakana, although they are a little similar. I can post of a photo of A. sandakana tonight.
Carlo, is your A. tristis from the Philippines? Can you post a picture of it? |

Posted - 16/04/2015 : 18:00:41 Dear Dan, this one seems to me very different from A. tristis that I've in my collection elytra are densely covered of yellow spot antenna are shorter the third antenna's segment is totally covered by long and dense hairs the insect is from Borneo, I'm sure. |
