The ONLY difference which is mentioned is the size of the premedian elytral maculae.
Thus, E. maculatrix and wrayi might be the same. I guess a lot more study is needed.

I think they are the same. Here is a specimen I have from Sabah which is intermediate to the specimens you show. |
