Posted - 05/03/2019 : 17:45:46 Hello Dan has a picture of the type Leprodera equestris Pascoe, 1866. Because I have trouble seeing the difference in apical spots on Larry's site. The only difference I see this situation at the new antennas is that there is a brush on the third article for L. elongata.

Posted - 04/03/2019 : 21:01:23 I think this might be Leprodera verrucosa Pascoe, 1866.
The only photographic comparison I could find ( but not really reliable ) is in Breuning's Revision of Agniini (page 214, fig. 31 & 32)
Breuning, S. 1943. Études sur les Lamiaires (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). Douzième tribu: Agniini Thomson. Novitates Entomologicae. Revue Mondiale d'Entomologique Systématique - Biologie. Troisième Supplément. Paris. 13(89-106):137-280. fig. 1-157.
It appears that some websites have this species mis-identified. I know that I have made this mistake for about 20 years!
L. elongata has a sub-median elytral marking that does not reach the apical curve of the elytra.
