The Holotype of Pareutaenia arnaudi Breuning, 1962 is a female, as wrote in Laos fauna (1970).

Breuning made the same mistake in his description of Eutaenia albomaculata Breuning, 1935 when he claimed it was a male. But a good photograph of the holotype leaves me in no doubt: it is a female.

I am now trying to understand whether there is a real character separating the genera Eutaenia Thomson, 1857 and Pareutaenia Breuning, 1948.

Probably E. arnaudi and albomaculata are conspecific, the females have hairy antennae, but I haven't this species.

Non, il s'agit d' Eutaenia albomaculata Breuning, 1935 femelle. Les proportions des élytres sont identiques à celles de l'holotype.
