Posted - 03/09/2021 : 20:56:14 Lamia rosenmuelleri is a species that should be attributed to Monochamus sutor.
The type is lost, but the original drawing and the patria (Pulkowa, Poland, not Russia as Sama (2002: 98) claimed), where M. sartor does not exist, proves that this species is not M. sartor.

The correct combination is, therefore, Monochamus sartor urussovii (Fischer von Waldheim, 1806), as several authors correctly stated. |
