Unlike Pt5, this appears to have a double stripe on the prothorax.
If this is the same species, I apologise.
Another small species.

It might be Epepeotes vestigialis Pascoe, 1866.

I got it in Malay Peninsula.

Hi Les, sorry, I didn't get this one. Derrick might though.

Thank you for your suggestions. As far as size is concerned, definitely not over 25mm. I'm afraid that the photo was taken a few weeks ago now, and I can not be more precise. Nor, unfortunately, do I have photos taken from a different perspective which may have resolved the matter.

Kurt, can you help? I can not remember if you saw this one!

Otarionomus blattoides Pascoe, 1856 in Pascoe, 1866, Fauna Malayana

It might also be the male of Hotarionomus blattoides (Pascoe, 1856).
This is Pascoe's original picture. The prothoracic shape is very similar, but this species is 28-40 mm long!
An idea about its body size might clarify this topic...

Hi all, it could be that this is not a longhorn beetle.
Have a look on the head: difficult to see because of the tarsus but you can distinguish the typical short wide snout which makes me think of some Anthribidae.

It is the first thing I have thought, Gérard... but it is not present in Borneo.
Moreover, Les wrote about a "small species"... Any indication about its size?
In the meantime, I tried to correct the light of the picture...
