Collected in Tapah Hills, Cameron Higlands, Malaysia. Total Length: 24,8 mm
Celosterna perakensis/ritsemani?
Please, help with the identification.
What are the differences between the two species? It is difficult for me to draw conclusions reading the descriptions of Heller and Breuning.
Saludos
Sergio

Thank you, Dan.
My first reaction was that it was indeed C. stolzi, but it made me doubt its geographical distribution: Saba and Borneo as my specimen was collected in Tapah Hills, Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.

It may not be either of those two species (almost certainly not perakensis)

For me, it is closer to Cerosterna stolzi.

I thought there was a recent paper on Cerosterna, but I don't have time to look. There are a lot of synonymies and undescribed species in this tribe. Even on the generic level, it is difficult.
