I know this species is already in a post, but without identification. May be now it's posible to do it (Francesco?)
From Perak, Malaysia. Total length: 22,1 mm.
Prosternal process much lower than coxae. Cereopsius?
Saludos
Sergio

I was looking at the description by Breuning of B. borneensis:

21 Blepephaeus borneensis
Close to albosticticus Breum. but the antennae finer, a quarter longer than the body (female), the lateral spine of the pronotum less broad, somewhat recurved, the apical marginal spine of the elytra somewhat longer. Black, densely greyish tomentose throughout; a vague whitish spot on the pronotum of each lateral spine; the wing covers densely covered with small blackish spots, except at the site of a premedian transverse lateral margin spot and a round postmedian spot, which are therefore uniformly grey; antennae red from the third limb onwards. 21 mm. Type from Borneo

Open and frankly, I can not take any conclusion...and I was not able to find any picture to compare with my specimen.

bien vu Xavier!
It could be Blepephaeus borneensis Breuning, 1944 or a new close species.

Sternohammus Breuning, 1935 has furrowed median tibiae; S. strandi has transverse lower eye lobes half as long as the cheeks; the sutural angle of the elytra is rounded. I therefore do not believe that it is this species.
This species appears to be close to Blepephaeus varius (Heller, 1898) described from Sulawesi, as here.

Parece Sternohammus strandi.
Cf. aquí.
