Bonjour Dan
voici deux séries de Glenea du MNHN

423.17 KB

Glenea laudata Pascoe, 1867

352.6 KB

Glenea blandina Pascoe, 1858

It is just series certainly to identify by Breuning.

The differences between G. blandina Pascoe, 1858 and G. laudata Pascoe, 1867 may be due to individual variations. When Pascoe published Longicornia, he had 1 female example of G. blandina from Sarawak and 2 of G. laudata from Sarawak, from which he surmised that G. laudata was a good species because it's elytral maculae were "larger", the shape of the pronotum was "more rounded" and there was no visible sutural vitta. The holotypes of both species and a good series of both species can be found in the British Museum. I have some poor quality photos, but it looks like specimens of both species have maculae with a variety of sizes and specimens of both species sometimes have the extremely short blue pubescence on the scape and dorsal side of the tarsi.

Celle-ci correspond bien à Glenea laudata Pascoe, 1867
le scape et les premiers articles bleutés.
