T. Kurihara told me that Oberea clara Pascoe, 1866 is the Malaysian species.
In Yunnan, (and in all "Indochina" area) it should be Oberea orothi Breuning, 1962. |

D'après Zhu Li:
It is easy to identify the males of O. clara which have a project on the first visible abdominal segment.
For the females, it is difficult. It is usually covered with golden pubescence and the apex of abdominal usually black; the pronotum is very transverse, hind femora reaching the anterior edge of second visible abdominal (not the posterior edge-O. fuscipennis) and post tibiae is about 2.5 times as long as tarsis.

Les mâles de O. clara sont faciles à identifier, ils ont une projection sur le premier segment abdominal visible.
Pour ce qui est des femelles, c'est plus difficile. Elles sont généralement couvertes d'une pubescence dorée et en général ont l'apex de l'abdomen noir; le pronotum est très transverse, les fémurs postérieurs atteignent le bord antérieur du second segment abdominal visible (contrairement au bord postérieur pour O. fuscipennis) et les tibias postérieurs ont à peu près deux fois et demi la longueur des tarses.
J'espère que ça va t'aider à départager tes espèces.

J'ai des Oberea qui ressemblent à cette clara. Est-ce que Zhu t'a donné un critère de détermination que je peux repérer sur ta photo ? |
